The Holding has just divested another asset from its healthcare portfolio.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">After selling two radiology centers as well as the Private Hospital of Marrakech in 2018, the Moroccan group belonging to Moulay Hafid Elalamy has just completed the divestiture of <strong>Saham Pharma<\/strong>. Indeed, \"SPE Capital Partners (SPE Capital), a private equity firm led by Nabil Triki with offices in Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt and Ivory Coast, has announced the finalization of the acquisition process of Saham Pharma, a Moroccan pharmaceutical company engaged in the manufacturing of antibiotics. <strong>Proparco<\/strong>, the private sector financing arm of the French Development Agency (AFD) also participated by acquiring a minority stake in this former subsidiary of Moroccan holding company Saham Group\", states Challenges.tn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It should be noted that this pharmaceutical laboratory was created in 2011 when Saham Group acquired the British company GSK's (GlaxoSmithKline) unit in Morocco, which subsequently became Saham Pharma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Through this acquisition, <strong>SPE Capital Partners<\/strong> makes its second investment in Morocco through its SPE AIF I fund, focused on Africa. \"We believe that the Moroccan pharmaceutical sector has strong growth and resilience fundamentals\", commented Nabil Triki, Managing Director of private equity firm SPE Capital.
