Emerge Invest successfully advised the Sanlam Group in the merger of its subsidiary LIA with Assurex, contributing to the completion of the first merger in the insurance sector in Lebanon.

The merged entity totals $129 million in premiums and benefits from a network of 12 agencies across the country, seven contributed by LIA and five by Assurex. This merger will enable "LIA Assurex" to leverage the complementarity of the two companies (LIA's expertise in life insurance and bancassurance and Assurex's expertise in auto and health insurance).
