Charbel Matar joined the Emerge team in 2020 as an expert in the Angolan market.

After completing his schooling in Lebanon, Charbel Matar pursued his university studies in Bordeaux, France. He began his career in the hospital sector in Bordeaux, then in 1987, he took over the management of the company Arpeche in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, a position he held until 2004. From that date, Charbel Matar settled in Luanda, Angola, where he founded the construction company B&S. He then joined the Saham Assurances Group, where he served for seven years as Head of Development. In parallel, Charbel Matar served as a board member of Saham Assurances Luanda from 2013 to 2016.
